I am currently getting quotes for a coach so we can go up as a group on Saturday 28th November to have a day at the Show.

I'm aiming at one pick up point, to keep the price down, at Newton Abbot Penn Inn for 8am, leavig Birmingham at 5pm for return trip.

Tickets for the show are £15 and its looking as if the coach tickets will be about the same, so £30 for a damn good day out.

When I have final details I will post them here. Lots of people have expressed an interest but as the coach takes 43 ish people we will need to convert that to firm bookings so we don't end up paying for empty seats. Tell your friends and keep the day free in your diaries!

Hope I'm not throwing too big a spanner in the works but have you thought about arranging it for the following Saturday (5th December)?
The show closes the day after and there will be a lot of bargains to be had. The vendors take the view that they would rather get rid of stuff than pack it up to take it back.
I have an alterior motive as well in that I'd love to go but we have our oldest son and his wife and the grandchildren coming down on the 28th and I think if I suggested I was going to the bike show that day, it could very possibly be my last day!

Sorry Pete but I'm too far down the road to be able to change it now - there's a strong possibiliy that a biker friend from Plymouth Club will drive his coach for us on that day and not take a wage from his employer, saving us £100! And if I were to change it for one, then why wouldn't I change it for someone else....
