ok now youve started it on this page aswell , ok sunshine( i say sunshine cause thats the only time your out on your icon) now smart a%se give me some history lessons as to why its an icon and some of its heritage , and i will tell you were you will not see a harley apart from the usual being out in the rain , and thats at the TT or any race track apart from the cowfield races they only have in the states and only one type of bike races in them because if they put any other bike in with them such as a BSA bantam the embarrasment of a hd losing would be too much to think about , so smarty mankini pants how can it be an icon if it will not race any other bike to prove its self like every other bike has for decades ,the hd is the only one, even the indian had a go ,ICONtinplate it would fail , iconic that it must be very comfortable if you have got piles.

read back a bit and think a little this is about icons as fatlad was going on about , not subaru's . i would imagine you would know the difference as a subaru is an icon in its own right due to its performance on road and off road ive owned one of those aswell and they are very good compared to other cars but expensive when they go wrong ie clutch and awd, but its not a bike and you dont ride a bike , i know they are cruisers thats the whole point what else have they achieved to be an icon compared to other bike manufacturers, did that explain it better to you homer doh! that was i silly answer to question wasnt it ?

Aaahhh icon - as in many film appearances as ridden by many famous peeps? Even Meatloaf uses them on stage and in his vids - that is iconic is it not?

You can leave my Scoob out of this really - I think I remembered I was not a rider and I am not trying to take the pee, just wondering about the relevance of racing bikes that are designed to do that and claiming they is an icon but if a bike type is not raced it cannot be - oh penny has just dropped again - you are trying to wind Andy up Scooter ................ hehehe.

I do actually understand what you are talking about Marge (oops she has hair doesn't she?).

It actually surprised me that you can buy Harleys in Iran and China as well as North Korea, not exactly the kind of place you would expect to see them.
