What a cracking day to be on a bike. Full Monty breakfast at Halden Cafe which thankfully had none of the males stripping off to underwear then some of us decided to move on with a route that took us down the A30 off at Ide and on to the old A30 then to Whiddon Down and down the A382 to Moretonhampstead. Right turn towards 2 Bridges and once on the moor it was glorious, dodge the odd sheep and believe me they were odd, I swear I saw one with 2 heads, and why do they have to lie on the road when there are thousands of acres of moor land to lie out on?
Stopped at Princetown for a cream tea, managed to persuade 2 prison warders that Stu was no longer an inmate and it was on to Cap'n Jaspers via Yelverton. Many many bikes at Jaspers and after a quick fluid stop we all departed for home.
Weather was great, most of the roads were a joy to ride and the company was ok I guess
Thanks all for a good day out.
Fatlad - we missed you, got that bike yet ?

It was an education watching Stuart eat a jam & cream scone - which had more jam and cream than scone........... most of it on his 'tash', which had already been whipped up into a 'Biggles' style as he rode across Dartmoor with his feet on the gas tank singing at the top of his voice. I think it was the title song from the film Notting Hill - 'Sheep.....may be the one you can't forget.................. _________________ Shark |

You lot are such tarts. I may not have a bike yet but I'm not bitter and twisted. Not f*****g much I'm not. Anyway I've had it confirmed by a friendly local policeman that I'm completely nuts, cor that's a relief I would hate this to be normal.
Bikeless in Broadsands . Great film (ed) based on Sleepless in Seattle but features a sad middleaged nerd who hasn't got a bike. _________________ Harley - Davidson 1584cc Road King Classic |

Whilst impressed with the size of Stu's cream tea, I couldn't complain about my salad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
