It might help people to come forward as new marshals if they had some idea of what is expected pf them? Apart from times o do it, what are they required to do and who do they report to, how do they get involved? For those of us who have been doing bike nighs like forever it seems obvious but if you want to start as a newvbie it could be a bit vague?

Can anyone put togeher a description, say how it is organised and post it on this page?

to park bikes during events
ensure safety of bikers and public
man the gates
collect money at gate
set up and pack up

getting involved.

come to the BMAD trailer or speak to any member of the committee.
You will need to be responsable, and even tempered .
it also helps if you have a slight interest in bikes
You will need to complete a few forms ( to keep us legal)One of which contains guidelines for your role
You will then be issued with a hi vis vest and name badge and will be shown what and where to do it.
You will never be expected todo anything that you are not happy with or left on your own until you are happy.

Times

we need people from 5.30 - 10pm on weds during the bike nights.
You dont have to stay the whole time - just give what you can.
For those who stay over 2 hours a hot drink and roll from the caters on site is provided free of charge.
